Fatal injuries due to motor vehicle crashes from 2014 to 2019. There was an increasing trend from 2014 to 2016 and a decreasing trend from 2016 to 2019. SHSP was implemented between 2016 and 2017. In 2019, there were 3,621 fatal injuries due to motor vehicle crashes statewide.

Fatality rate due to motor vehicle crashes from 2014 to 2019. There was a decreasing trend from 2014 to 2019. SHSP was implemented between 2016 and 2017. In 2019, the fatality rate due to motor vehicle crashes was 1.26 per 100 million vehicle miles travelled.
Suspected Serious Injuries
Suspected serious injuries due to motor vehicle crashes from 2014 to 2019. There was an increasing trend from 2014 to 2016 and a decreasing trend from 2016 to 2018 followed by an increase in 2019. SHSP was implemented between 2016 and 2017. In 2019, there were 15,846 suspected serious injuries due to motor vehicle crashes statewide.

Suspected serious injury rate due to motor vehicle crashes from 2014 to 2019. There was an overall decreasing trend from 2014 to 2019. SHSP was implemented between 2016 and 2017. In 2019, the suspected serious injury rate due to motor vehicle crashes was 5.53 per 100 million vehicle miles travelled.
Cyclist Fatalities
Cyclist fatalities due to a crash with a motor vehicle compared to total statewide fatalities due to motor vehicle crashes from 2014 to 2019. SHSP was implemented between 2016 and 2017. In 2019, there were 68 cyclist fatalities due to motor vehicle crashes.
Cyclist Suspected Serious Injury
Cyclist suspected serious injuries due to a crash with a motor vehicle compared to total statewide suspected serious injuries due to motor vehicle crashes from 2014 to 2019. SHSP was implemented between 2016 and 2017. In 2019 among cyclists, there were 311 suspected serious injuries due to motor vehicle crashes.
